Team[ | ]

The mech is available as part of the Frozen Titans squad.

Strategy[ | ]

The Aegis Mech is one of the few Prime Mechs that starts with 4 move points, and its sturdy 3HP lets it effectively move through the front lines. Its default weapon Spartan Shield allows the Aegis Mech to redirect an enemy's attack in the opposite direction, which is helpful in resolving situations where multiple buildings in a row or column would otherwise be at risk.

While not a high-damage dealing weapon, Spartan Shield does have relatively cheap upgrades. The Gain Shield upgrade is self explanatory and the bigger priority to power, letting it use the shield to sit on a spawn point, take bump damage (from the Mirror Mech pushing an enemy into it for e.g.) or body block damage if needed.

Despite this, it is not very effective at resolving targets that move themselves with their attacks, such as Moths and Bouncers, and it struggles with enemies that hit in multiple directions, such as the Firefly Leader; while the shield will keep the Aegis Mech safe, all these enemies can still damage the grid even when hit by it. Thus, it is recommended to look for another weapon that offers displacement.
