Some Missions have additional units available, and successful completion of those missions often involve protecting those units.
"Active" allied units behave the same as units in the squad; each turn the player can choose their movement and/or attack.
"Passive" allied units also exist but can't be directly interacted with. Some Passive Allied units must be destroyed to fulfill the mission bonus objective; an example being the Old Earth Dam.
Both the above allow passing-through movement of squad/allied units.

Smoke Immunity: This unit is unaffected by Smoke. Fire Immunity: This unit is unaffected by Fire. Stable : Cannot be moved by any weapon effect (Push, Teleport, etc.).

Smoke Immunity: This unit is unaffected by Smoke. Massive: Massive units can walk in Water (but Water will prevent attacking or repairing). Submerged: Weapons do not work when submerged in Water. Stable : Cannot be moved by any weapon effect (Push, Teleport, etc.).
