The Alpha Bouncer is a common Vek from Into The Breach introduced in the Advanced Edition. They are only present if Advanced Enemies are turned on at the start of a new timeline.

Bouncers attack one tile in front of them, much like a Hornet without flight. What differentiates the Bouncer is that it will push the target tile and push themselves back by 1 tile, potentially resulting in a chain of collisions.
Strategy[ | ]
Much like standard Bouncers, Alpha Bouncers are easy to deal with in open spaces, as they can be pushed away from targets much like a Scorpion. However, the two-directional push must be considered as it could lead to further damage on grid buildings; this can be used to your advantage by directing the backwards push into a mountain or water tiles. In the latter, they will instantly drown and be destroyed.
