This Vek will leave a trail of fire behind him when he charges. In some case you will prefer to prevent that by standing in front of it point blank, or knocking a Vek in front of him. The shorter the distance of his attack the less fire. However Vek will try not to stand in fire if they can help it; this means if the Beetle Leader is going to charge in front of a lot of your Grid buildings, the row of fire can inadvertently help protect your buildings from melee attacks.
