Field Promotion is one of the achievements in Into the Breach.

This achievement is easily gotten by maxing out any pilot. If looking to get it quickly on a new profile with only the Rift Walkers squad unlocked, the starting pilot Ralph Karlsson easily allows this in a 2-island first playthrough, by placing him in the Combat Mech and letting him down as many enemies as possible.
