The Leaper is a Vek from Into The Breach.

Leapers jump to their destination and avoid all obstacles in the way. After they move they will web an adjacent target and prepare to stab it during the enemy turn for 3 damage.
Leapers cannot spawn alongside the Scorpion.
Strategy[ | ]
Leapers are dangerous due to their webbing, high damage, and high mobility, but their low health makes them trivial for most starting Mechs to kill. Try to stay out of their movement range whenever possible, as it will force them to waste their web ability on grid buildings. Eliminate them as soon as you are able; preferably using collateral bump damage, or by moving another Vek to attack them.
