==Strategies==
* The Rift Walkers is a basic, straightforward squad who works well as an introduction, but have a surprisingly weak mid-game and their default weapon upgrades require a lot of Reactors.
* The squad lacks mobility, so spending Power on +1 Move or Dash or equipping mobility-oriented pilots for the Combat and Cannon Mech helps.
* The squad's weaponry are basic, so they can swap out weapons and pilots more freely than other squads that are more synergy-dependent.
* Islands with 2-HP or lower enemies are very manageable with the Rift Walkers, as their default weapons deal sufficient damage to kill two of them at a time with both direct damage and bump damage combined.
* Conversely, the [[Shell Psion]] and [[Bot Leader]] are particularly difficult to deal with this squad until their weapons are upgraded or swapped out for other options later.
