Description[]

Sentient Weapons are creations of Pinnacle Robotics that are a second type of enemy encountered only on Pinnacle's Island.

Sentient Weapons are classified as enemies, in a separate category from Vek. They do not benefit from Vek Psion bonuses, and they are not affected by the Force Amp or the Void Shocker passives; however, their damage output is affected and increased by the Vek Hormones passive.

In some mission bonus objectives, it is possible that sentient weapons will be part of the defensive objective; whether as NPCs or hostile units. Some of them can be turned into an ally unit by fulfilling a specific objective, such as Destroying the Hacking Facility. Veks will only target Sentient Weapons if they are ally units or NPCs.
