Hey, are we not gonna mention the power required for the weapon or its upgrades? That seems like kind of important information. Mejmonkey (talk) 19:51, 3 March 2018 (UTC)

"Weapon Tier" section[]
Most of the pages that describe weapons have a section tiering weapons. Since this is a Wiki page for Into the Breach, it should ideally remain as neutral and as informative as possible. I understand that achieving true neutrality is vague and hard to define, specially when providing advice for what is good and what isn't. That said, including a letter to rate the usefulness of a weapon is not informative, since it's not clear what grading scale the author used, and the grade is also biased towards what the author considers "good."
So what I propose is: rename these sections to "Strategy" — much like a handful of pages already have a "Strategy" section — and remove the tier. We can still keep the usage tips, rewriting them where they are not relevant (the Advanced Edition did make some outdated) or to make them more clear, as these are fairly helpful still even if still subjective. This would present less bias from the few authors who wrote them. --CozyPoo (talk) 14:10, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
- I've removed the tier section from all existing pages as of today, and have been formatting all of the pages to contain more information about weapon upgrades, availability, and more detailed usage tips. There are still a handful of weapon and passive pages that need to be created, but it's come a long way since then.
