Techno-Hornet is a Cyborg-class mech in Into the Breach. ==Team== The mech is available as part of the Secret Squad squad. ==Strategy== The Techno-Hornet's Needle Shot weapon has comparable utility to other Prime class weapons, letting it target one tile and push its target. The main difference is that its starting damage is lower by comparison, somewhat made up by the Techno-Hornet's flight and high starting mobility. Consider more Mech Health as a first upgrade for the Techno-Hornet, since the Mech does better close to enemies. More health will help it block spawns more consistently, and will make it more durable for body-blocking enemy projectiles if needed. Despite its low starting damage, Needle Shot's reactor core upgrades scale impressively well and should be considered for early upgrades; while expensive, they increase damage and range by 1 point each. The additional range can be controlled much like the Flame Mech's flame thrower weapon, and overall gives the Techno-Hornet very high potential damage output, capping at hitting 3 tiles for 3 damage each (for 9 damage total).
