Strategy[ | ]
Vortex Fist is a mixed version of Hydraulic Legs with Sidewinder Fist's pushing angle. Just like the former, it can deal 3 damage in a cross shape around the Mech, plus 1 push on full upgrade. Compared to Hydraulic Legs, Vortex Fist has 2 less self damage with max upgrades, but it loses positioning without mobility oriented upgrades and pilot abilities. The sideways push of Vortex Fist somewhat sets it apart, as most weapons do not have versatile pushing, and thus can offer alternative positioning options if the self damage and friendly fire can be mitigated.
